The Liverpool Buddhist Centre is a welcoming and friendly space for you to explore Buddhist practices & for people to meditate together. You can learn about Buddhism, you can learn meditation and mindfulness & you can meet like-minded people and possibly make new friends
The Centre is housed on the 2nd floor in the Beautiful Grade II listed, Melbourne Buildings, 19-21 North John Street in the city centre. With great transport links, there’s a bookshop, a reference library and a lending library offering a wide range of books on Buddhism, Meditation & Mindfulness in the comfortable reception area & a shrine room.
We want to try and make everyone’s visit to the Centre as safe as possible.
In relation to Covid since the removal of all legal restrictions we have reverted to most of our activities being in person at the centre. However we are limited in both space and ventilation, so you should be aware that there will always be risk involved of coming into contact at the centre with somebody who may unknowingly be infectious.
It is therefore important for all of us to maintain our awareness of the risk not just to ourselves but to others. With that in mind please do not come if you feel unwell in any way or have been in contact with someone else who feels unwell.
We are therefore asking everybody intending to come to the Centre to use the hand sanitizer available on arrival. Masks are also available if anybody wants to use one.
