What Happens at the centre ?

All are welcome to the regulars class (Sangha night) on Tuesday evenings and if you are new to our centre some instruction will be given

Sangha means community and we are a friendly bunch! We enjoy a varied programme which includes meditation, talks, discussion and sometimes ritual and arts events.

We run introductory courses which cover basic Buddhism and meditation instruction.

As well as this weekly gathering we hold occasional events at weekends, sometimes with visiting teachers, and usually an annual residential retreat at a hired venue.

The Liverpool Buddhist Centre is on the 2nd floor of Melbourne Buildings with two rooms. A reception space that includes a kitchen, shop, Library, and the Shrine room, with all the chairs, cushions, etc that we need for meditation.
