We’re offering a new opportunity to take a breathing space from your busy schedule and learn to meditate. Call in to the Liverpool Buddhist Centre on the 2nd Saturday of each month and take an hour to slow down and just breathe.
Sessions will run from 10.30-11.30am and whilst all levels of experience are welcome, these sessions will be particularly directed towards newcomers to meditation. There will be instruction, periods of led meditation and an opportunity to ask whatever questions you may have about meditation or buddhism in general.
The venue is our Centre on the 2nd floor of Melbourne Buildings in North John Street, the entrance is next door to the Shiraz Restaurant. There is no need to book in advance, just turn up between 10.15 & 10.30am, sorry but there will be no admission after 10.30 once the session has started.
There is no set charge for these sessions, we operate on a Dana (generosity) basis so feel free to donate whatever you feel able to. We don’t want anyone to be excuded due to their financial situatuion. We are only able to accept cash on the day or direct bank transfer.
Future dates will be: 11th January, 8th Feb, 8th March, 12th April, 10th May, 14th June.
We continue our weekly meetings of Sangha at the center on Tuesdays 19:00-21:00

Going Deeper Meditation and Dharma Sessions
These sessions are for people who have a regular meditation practice and wish to take this deeper along with a desire to discuss the Dharma and its application to our everyday lives. The aim is to share our practice and support each other on our spiritual journey.
The sessions will start at 10.30am with a grounding meditation (body based). These will be followed by a short input on a particular theme, followed by a second meditation around that theme and we will finish the session at 12.30pm.
(The door will be open from 10am if you want to pop in earlier for a chat or a drink first).
These sessions are offered on a dana basis, so please give something to the centre if you can afford to do so.
